As a result, my protagonists often lacked internal conflict and didn’t always drive the story by pursuing their goals. It’s just that for me, characterization was usually a second thought. Not that writing plot-driven stories is a weakness. I’ve long recognized this as a weakness in my writing process. Today I thought I’ll share all those lessons with you all in the hope that these might help you too. Like his other books, this book, too, helped me learn many things. It is true for Khaled Hosseini in all senses. After reading his first two masterpieces “The Kite Runner” and “A Thousand Splendid Suns” I was even more sure about the phrase. “Words have the power to move the world” this phrase stands true for Khaled Hosseini’s books. ![]() ![]() ![]() But when Kate's guardian is murdered, she must choose to do nothing, and remain safe, or to risk her life by pursuing his preternatural killer.
